So I'm in better shape today, it's like almost 12:00pm and I still have yet to go to bed, BUT I did sleep for 24hrs...somewhere. Was asleep and Mum (who when I went to bed had been spending the night @ my nee-chan's house, had come home and slept - hence the day) woke me up @ like 8am, and was all "r u okay?"

Wow. Such different responses. I thought 288 was the best thing to happen in forever. It was parodistic to me--altogether a bad joke. Intentionally over the top and the CLONES. I mean, Kishimoto and Kubo were up late one night giggling together like girls at a slumber party plotting this one over the weed. THE BAD JOKE repeated three times. There's a rule in comedy that if you repeat something twice, it's significant and poetic and not comedy. Three times and its bad comedy. Four times and you start to get the joke.
It's like effing gold that Kubo went for three times.

I meant like it's just a walking cliche, in almost any genre really. I've seen it in shoujo, in comedy, in fantasy and even scifi. I'll admit that Szayel's release is *wicked*, like creepier than #9's, which just made u WTF? O_O but still, CLONES?!
It honestly is "The Bad Joke" -- I wonder what he means by it?
