Crowley was still driving after the meeting the day before. He was still cranky. He still wanted to get drunk. He had been exploring the city and he wasn't terribly happy with what he'd found so far.

He was turning a corner on a street with a building at the end of it about five blocks away when a horrible noise accompanied by an earthquake began. Crowley stopped the car immediately and opened the door of the car and standing just outside the car, leaning on the door. He could tell the cacophony was coming from the building ahead of him. Just what it was, he wasn't certain about.

Sophie was working in the shop when she heard the noise. What sort of horrid thing had come how? She made her way outside before noticing exactly where it was coming from. She sighed heavily and threw her shawl over her, running to the house.

She noticed the man leaning against the car as she turned to the right block. She knew where the house was readily enough. She visited Calcifer and was taking care of that mess he'd been forced to live in. She paused, looking at the man who was watching. "Have you gone in?"

He was new, but these things happened often here.

Crowley looked at the girl. Had he gone in? Did it look like he'd gone in? He had just been considering turning around and driving away from whatever the hell that was.

Instead of saying any of that, he simply said, "No."

Sophie had a good mind to roll her eyes at the man. Someone was throwing such a fit - or being eaten by some sort of loud creature, and he hadn't gone in?!?

Actually, she supposed that was natural. She herself was scared out of her skin; but Calcifer was in there. He was her friend. Besides, for all his wickedness Howl wasn't so bad. So instead of turning around and walking away, or even contemplating it, she pulled her gray shawl even closer and marched towards the house before pausing to look back. "Coming?"

She mopped up what she could with her skirts, silently thanking Crowley for being there to grab hold of Howl. It would have been horrible to be doing all this alone. Besides, the man would probably just ooze more slime. Wicked indeed.

She mused that a wizard's tantrum was far worse then a sister's; they made sure the entire town knew they were upset. Troublesome and rather annoying as well.

Once she was sure Calcifer was reasonably taken care of she made her way to the bathroom with the two men. Running her hand under the faucet, she grabbed two brushes and handed one to Crowley. Good, the water was good and hot. All this slime was going to be a mess to clean. Probably just what Howl had wanted.

"We'll have to scrub it off." She explained simply, she started scrubbing.

Howl simply kept quiet. As if something was seriously wrong with him, yet nothing realy was. He was at that stage in the tantrum where you kept your mouth shut and didn't do anything at all. A frustrating person indeed.

The more work he caused the better. Everyone could suffer along with him. Hopefully suffer more then he was. If he could cause the suffering all the better. Especially if Sophie was the one who had messed with his bathroom.

Crowley was a bit miffed at having to clean the wizard. But, regardless of that, he started scrubbing none too gently.

"Ugh.... Humans shouldn't be able to do this. Wizard or not..."

She laughed a little at Crowley's comment. She wasn't sure if the part about humans was a general statement including himself, or if he was something else all together.

"Well, he is one of the wickedest wizards in all of Ingry." Her tone showed she was teasing a bit - even if the statement were true. "He's only sulking. Once we get him cleaned off and into some warm cloths he'll be fine." She felt it best to keep this man in the loop of what was going on.

She really did have some sympathy for the wizard, after all, she had caused it. Even if ginger did suit him.

Crowley waited until the girl was out of the room. He hefted the dead weight of the wizard and managed to dry him off before he got fed up.

"I'm tired of this game, Wizard."

He just bloody miracled the suit on. He was rather annoyed at having to treat the man as a baby. Ugh...

Sophie had asked Calcifer to move just a bit so she could put some milk on to warm. It was easier finding things in a clean room. She felt a bit of pride swell in her at the thought of it. Then she made her way back to the bathroom. "The slime is all cleaned up." She said simply. Then she placed her hands on her hips. The bottom of her dress was stained from the slime. "Now, come out and have some warm milk."

He felt pride in the ability to aggravate the demon, he also felt no fear of him, finding him rather amusing. As much amusement as he did get from Crowley, Sophie was another matter. The woman was so bossy, her nose in everything. It was a miracle things were as much as they were.

He sighed, ready to reside himself into what the the small busybody would do.

Crowley snorted. Warm milk? Boy, Howl was being babied by the girl, whose name Crowley still didn't know. Come to think of it, he hadn't introduced himself yet. Maybe once the wizard had gone to bed...

The demon just nudged the wizard forward. Bah... It wasn't the worst day ever....

Sophie felt like slapping him. More now then ever. Any sympathy that she may have had for the man had fled with his last comment. He was being selfish, completely selfish, and her patience was wearing thin. They all wanted to go home. They all wanted to see family and friends again. She hadn't seen her sisters in so long. She'd been avoiding and avoiding Lettie, and now she could never see her again ( ... )

Calcifer was acting a traitor, somehow so many things were expected of him. He felt quite overwhelmed, quite hopeless, and quite out of sorts. He got up swiftly knocking over the chair he had been siting in.

"Do as you will. Do not for a moment thing I am not working on a means." With that he swept away upstairs to his room, and audible thump following.
