My, but it's been a busy few days. First being mistaken for someone else, then a bit of rather interesting alchemy, then meeting up with Daemon, then helping out a poor, starving, nearly crazed vampire, and finally, getting to meet the Kitten's brother ( Read more... )

It's not exactly something that can fall under "should" and "shouldn't".

Oh my! There are vampires here?

Are they anything like in the stories you here?

That would depend on which stories you're listening to. But yes...there are vampires here. Myself being one of them.

Well, then, shall we clarify? I'm a researcher by nature and I would find it quite interesting to learn about them.

On my World, the standard story is holy symbols can restrict their movements, they feed on blood, and they cannot move in the sun.

Does that sound like what a vampire is? If not, I'd love to learn more! ^_^

Ah, I see.

From my personal experience, yes, we are affected in varying degrees by holy symbols, usually depending on the vampire's personal strength and power. We do have to have blood to live, and most vampires cannot move in the sun. I, however, seem to be an exception to that rule. I am known as a daywalker.

Alchemy?

Science-art of taking one thing and making it into something else. There're all sorts of rules and such for it, though. That time, there were souls involved, in a way.

So this type of alchemy is far more advanced than the "turn lead into gold" concept from our world...

It actually works, for one.
