Today I went to volunteer/walk at the Terry Fox Run. This is the third consecutive year that I've been going to this well-organized walk for a noble cause, and it's the first year that I've volunteered as a marshall. Oooooo Terry Fox! A Great Canadian Hero! I had the fortune of visiting the Terry Fox Memorial in Thunderbay, Ontario. It's built on the spot that he stopped his run when his cancer spread to his lungs. You cannot visit there without emotion following you. Terry is a real hero for everyone on the planet. Just recently Terry was honoured by getting his own coin in Canada! http://www.mint.ca/terryfox/home.asp

Congratulations on getting involved with this, a truely international event that benefits all of mankind. Terry would have been proud!

I'm glad to know he's got a coin of his own! That's really impressive. I'd love to visit his memorial.

Now I have a tee that says 'Donated by the Government of Canada' at the back. Lol.

Tee-shirt. It's yellow and has Terry Fox's face printed over the left side of the chest.. This was the 25th walk, so they made the tee-shirts really colorful.
