I don't understand why they had to pin the tail of religion on the donkey of their political opinions. It's basically a land dispute between India and the Kashmiris, I fail to see how religion has anything to do with it.

Muslims may have helped ring in the Renaissance, but they did it despite Islam not because of it. Just like Christianity, Islam doesn't give you much room to think for yourself.

But I do see your point and I sincerely hope we live to see the Renaissance.
