The three days of Eid have passed - pretty slowly, I must say - and I just have three more days of school-free boredom/bliss before I return to the unfabulously grinding routine of regular A-level life ( Read more... )

eid, hookah, dubai marina, arjun, holidays, bowling, family

Don't call me a whore :(
I already apologized, na? I'm so sorry! All through the movie I was thinking about how watching this movie without you was so wrong when I'd promised I'd go with you guys.

If busted = thwack on the arse, you can bust me more often sweetie.

Anywya, the movie was so-so, would have enjoyed it more with you there - Ruth was giggling like a school girl which was even more annoying than the running commentary from the 6 year old kid behind me:

Why is bear in the car?
Why the deer is sleeping?
Why that man is shooting?
Why she is flying in a helliocopter?

Shoot me. Shoot me now.

Yeah, I really would've enjoyed it more if you were beside me, rather than those burka-ed Arab girls. Not that they were bad company, but still ;)

You know, your frustration reminds me of the time I went to watch Harry Potter II on Eid about 2 years ago.. There were these Pakistani boys sitting behind us and they were translating EVERY line into Urdu. Then Dumbledore appeared on the screen and one of them went like, "Yeh Headmaster hai kya?" [Is this the headmaster?]. I turned around and told him off. Stupid people!

Aw, your Eid seems to have been a lot more fun than mine--"what holiday? I have to WORK!" :-P

Aw, that sucks! Man, if I move out to a Western country next year, I won't have any shortened working/school hours or any holidays for Eid. Damn.

Oh gosh.. they had no reason to be violent around Karni. Somehow I think the government wants Gaza to be starved, on some level, so that they can have yet another reason to be angry/frustrated with Israel ( ... )

nice to hear that eid was nice :) how come u find the hols boring? didnt the teachers give u work to do?

i still havent got over that feeling that ramadan is over. at times i hesistate to munch outside during the daytime thinking that ramadan is still going on.

i hate ppl who blow cigarette smoke right in front of you. its so suffocating. like u said sheesha smoke is bearable coz of the different flavours they add in.

dont worry about the spare tyre. i'm sure with all the excercises u do often it would slowly disappear.

take care

Being the nerd I am, I did all my homework on the first day of the holidays i.e. last Friday. So nothing much to do.

Cigarette smoke is simply suffocating.
