Properly Motivated
Daniel digs his knees into the dirt, sluicing along his belly through the slick mud. His hair catches on a barb, but he keeps going, straining towards the goal line. He hears Jack’s soft voice in his mind, “Finish the obstacle course in time and I’ll make it worth your while.”

Daniel had plenty of ideas for how this would be worth his while. One idea involved a blindfold and candles. Another idea involved Jack’s fireplace and a gallon of chocolate-chunk ice cream.

But Daniel knew what he really wanted: He just needed to find a mini-skirt in Jack’s size.

And your answering prompt shall be: Obstacle Course

*snickers* I'm glad you enjoyed it. Writing that was much more fun than actually doing work. ;)

(And I love this icon, too.)

Christina
Jayne ran his hands over her cold skin, cataloguing her contours. Her mouth was pert and black, smooth like silk. He held her with one hand, feeling her power in her weight-a good ten pounds. He looked down her sight, his finger twitching on the trigger; he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.

“Janye,” Mal exasperated. “Can you quit fondlin’ the liberated merchandise.”

“I was just admirin’.”

“Right.” Mal shook his head. “Stop touching, and I’ll let you keep one.”

Jayne set the gun back in its straw packing and whispered, “See you in a bit, Christina.”
