I read this story before I started watching NCIS, and then while I was watching the ep with the little blind girl, I kept having flashbacks to this story. And to make things worse, I kept wondering why Ducky didn't start telling the story about this one time when he had to protect a little girl who seemed to like his taste in clothing... and then had to force myself to remember that my canon and real canon are not the same thing.

Alas.

I decided this morning as I was taking shower that you can't possibly be a real person. I think you are the wish fufilment fairy or summit, because I read your stories and these things that I've been wanting for ages keep poping up. I also come up with brilliant thoughts whilst in the shower, but I am actually a real person. I have RL issues and taxes to pay and whatnot, all that fun stuff. And the proof that I am a real person is that I am currently suffering from comment-withdrawal. Okay, warning: I'm a total comment whore. And Victoria Waverly nee Mallard is totally your fault, for posting that pic of the actress and Leo G Carroll. Victoria clearly went downhill after Alexander died and Illya!Ducky always liked her, so he took her in and made her part of his cover story. Now he's stuck with her, poor Russian lamb chop, but he is going to be sad when she passes on.

this was fun. I missed it before when searching for short stories because you have a typo in the header. You have "from" as "form" :)
