Actress Brittany Murphy dead at 32
And I here I was going to post about how awesome seeing Avatar in 3D was. I wouldn't be surprised if no one had heard of her, but I totally had the hots for her once I saw her in The Prophecy 2. She was my second favorite actress next to Fairuza Balk. How depressing. -
What is up with Uganda?
First Uganda passes a law saying that gay people can be sentenced to life in prison and people with HIV/AIDS are to be executed (and charged even if they live abroad). Then they pass a law banning female circumcision, which is one of the most horrible practices visited upon the female gender. Multiple personality much? -
Time for the heater
So I broke down tonight & turned on the heater. Being cheap is part of it, but I don't like using it because I feel like a wimp when I have to turn it on, being that I live in a desert. It was about 65 in my place at around10:30pm, which seems a bit too early to be that cold. I don't feel so bad now though, as teh intarwebz tell me its 40 out. ( Read more... )
