Ugh

I hate Daylight Savings Time. Why can't we just pick one way and stick with it, like Arizona does? "Springing forward" is the absolute worst, and seems to take me forever to recover from. Here it is, already after midnight and I'm not the least bit tired. If I went to bed now, I would no doubt lay awake for about two hours or so ( Read more... )

I hear ya. I kept trying to convince my body it was sleepy time but no go. "It's after 12. Really, it is. See the pretty clock?" "Bah it's lying. It's 11 and that means you are wide awake, get it?!"

Yep! I stopped looking at the clock at 2AM. It just wasn't worth it. Strangely, I feel okay today. It'll probably hit me hardest tomorrow.

It like Fall Back much more but it's not worth Spring Forward.

It felt really weird getting up at 7, felt like 6 this morning, I so wanted to go back to bed! I don't like it much neither!

I don't mind rolling the clocks forward, because I enjoy having some daylight left when I get out of work. But I wish we would just stick to that, you know? What's the point of rolling them back in the fall?

When it started, from what I've been told anyway, it was due to people who were actually outside and needed to get to bed earlier to avoid the night. Now, people just stay inside anyway. No point to it at all!

I am so with you. This year seems particularly hard to adjust. Why is it that kids seem to have an easier time with it? Is it because they can't tell time anyway? Joey doesn't seem affected in the slightest, and I think it's because he got up on his own in the morning and went to bed at the same time he normally would. So he was out cold by 9:00. This morning felt SO early.

I think we should do away with daylight savings. It might have had it's place at one time, but I think it is completely stupid in this day and age.

Yeah, I don't remember being affected by it much when I was a kid. :-/ Who knows?

I wouldn't mind if we kept DST all year long... But this business of switching back and forth is just antiquated and needs to stop!
