Every time I go to the Verizon store, they're selling a new phone. And it's always more awesome than the last phone I was looking at and had decided to buy! I've resigned myself to wait until after my February cruise to upgrade my phone, so who knows what models they'll be selling then... But until that time, I'm going to be salivating over the ( Read more... )

It honestly looks a little too big for a pocket. I've got the LG Chocolate and that's about as big as I like. I like the looks of the Verzion Voyager, but that also looks kinda big.

It's a good size, trust me! My current flip phone is longer, if you count the antenna that's always out. The XV6800 is wider, but also much thinner, which is nice.

Honestly?

For it to be supported in your area. Maybe it has gotten better, but I think AT&T just got service up here. Most of the major networks that had been advertised weren't available to us here about 5 years back. That, or a lot of people were lying.

I can't stand AT&T... I used to have Cingular before they merged. When I moved to Tallahassee my phone stopped working. In order to make/receive a call, I had to go outside and stand at the top of a nearby hill. I decided to test out Verizon, who was running a free 15-day trial thing. My Verizon phone worked perfectly no matter where I was in town.

After much badgering on my part, Cingular agreed to let me out of my contract without having to pay the cancellation fee. They stopped sending me bills, I couldn't log onto the website anymore... I thought I was free. Until the collection agency called me six months later, claiming I owed $230 on behalf of Cingular. >=( When I called Cingular, I was told (by a supervisor) "Tough luck" and hung up on. I was waiting for a home loan approval at the time and couldn't afford the hit on my credit, so I had to pay it. Since then I'd estimate that I've turned away at least twenty people from Cingular/AT&T. So I feel a little bit better. ;-)
