Hope nobody minds... but I did a thing!
So pixel_trade is currently having a Person Below Me challenge focused on aliens. I just got some new skins -- my first non-Maxis defaults! -- that I wanted to play around with, so I simply started creating a sim based on the most recent prompt... and I kinda liked him. So, I'm submitting him.
Prompt by jens_sims: The person below me will make a slightly chubby adult alien sim with strange face make-up, oddly colored hair, and is a huge sci-fi geek.
Xerxes Dolomite comes from a highly intelligent race of beings who reproduce by budding. His hair may not seem that strange to us -- until you realize that all others of his species have green hair. Because of his "difference," Xerxes was sent on a mission of indefinite duration to study Earthling culture. Although Xerxes views his assignment as a punishment and finds the vast majority of the human race completely insufferable, he must admit that he is fascinated by their mythology. He finds himself spending many sleepless nights breathlessly enraptured in the humans' written speculation on his people and their advanced technology. It's all just so illogical -- so why does Xerxes find so much joy in reading the stuff?
