Fic rec! It's fanfic based on the TV version of The Walking Dead, but you don't have to be familiar with the show at all in order to understand it. Word of warning, though, if you aren't familiar with the show, some of the language may be offensive because it's Daryl's POV and he's pretty offensive. (But still my favorite)
