this is me at that portfolio review I sometimes mention
it was here, at this moment that I was urged to put a proposal together and send them 'something...anything'
notice my expression: I'm very aware of the camera, and planning to find out how I can get a copy
my heart and mind racing...
trying to stay very calm as this lady pretty much gives me some of the most valued compliments I've ever received

I'd love to know who this lady is
I'm certain she's long since forgotten about me
but I'd still like to know.
She was an editor for Dark Horse Comics at the time of this photo: 1999 I believe

I like the symbolism
I think I'd be fool not be working on my own stuff on the side
I've got plenty of time to do both. They only want to ever see 5-10 pages of sequential story-telling
