p.s. You used the word 'expedition' and the phrase 'long since' incorrectly. Honestly that whole sentence is fucked. Possible fixes: Expeditions that should've occurred long ago. (still the wrong word choice but it works grammatically) An expedition that should've occurred long ago. (still the wrong word choice but it works grammatically) An expedition that should've long since occured. Events that should've long since occurred(or transpired). Actions that should've been taken long ago.
But even in these version I would still yank the "should've". It's kind of a dirty bastard of a contraction. Ideally the sentence would read:
