made it to venice

(internet costs a lot here  - so i will be quick)

not many streets - lots of boats and water

saw a huge fireworks show last night - cause it is a big holiday -  with lots of bad american music to go with the fireworks

today we went to see them blow glass

well - i am just about ready to leave for the airport to go to europe for 3 weeks. Should be a lot of fun.  After a layover in london, i should be in Milan by tomorrow night

i have been doing this real world thing for a few weeks now... I think it is time for a break...

I should be in Bloomington around 11pm tomorrow and I fly out on Sunday at about 6pm. ( and i have a rental car)

IUSA elections are currently taking place and i am of course not going to be here next year and no one is running against anyone - but we have new software and we want to make sure it works - so voting would be cool. so i was watching the news rights before dinner and they had a story on about festivus (the new york cbs evening news).  Apparently there is someone walking around the tree in rockefeller center carrying a festivus pole.  During the segment they talk about how people around the country are now celebrating festivus and they talk about the feats of ( Read more... )
