I've read spoilers about what's going on with Sam and I'm gonna post a quick sentence that is technically spoiler-free but references what I think you'll possibly think about it when you find out (and a little something about when we might find out). So yeah, you can choose whether you read it or not :-)

(I think you might be pleasantly surprised and feel at least just the teensiest bit better about what the writers are doing with Sam this season once you find out what's going on--which I think we find out about next week.)

Had to read it...and I'll trust you on that then, :) That's an intriguing thought...now I'm really wondering what it is that's going to be found out, lol

Thanks for that! ^^

You're welcome! I'm really anxious to hear what you think. I know we differ a lot in opinion when it comes to the show, and I'm not assuming this knowledge will be some sort of instant cure, making you suddenly love this season, but I do have hopes that you'll at least feel better about it. And I'm really, REALLY excited about it!

Also, I've read the Twilight books, been to the midnight showings of all the movies so far, and I absolutely loved the parody aspect tonight. I felt like it was smart and subtle (compared to the parody movies), and honestly, there are some aspects of Twilight that are a little ridiculous (or a lot), especially in regards to the movies (dialogue and acting specifically.) And other than that Robert/Kristen scene, I think most of it was just commenting on how Dean and Sam see Twilight through hunters' eyes.

But in the end, I used to be obsessed with Twilight and will continue to attend the midnight showings, eagerly awaiting seeing the new installment.

It was definitely subtle compared to the parody movies...God, I hated even the posters for those things. Grr. And honestly, I think you're right, it was mostly just how Sam and Dean see Twilight and that is pretty funny...I definitely loved Dean's "Eat it, Twilight!" comment last season, lol I think the only reason it made me sigh a little is that everyone and their brother wants to have a go at Twilight these days and it just gets a little tiresome ( ... )

This episode just...affirmed more than ever that I need to block out anything that has to do with the brothers' relationship. It's either reserve judgement or stop watching, because it /hurts/ But I also think that this episode more than ever is giving us solid hints, if not proof, that Sam...is not Sam ( ... )

Yeah, I agree about having to not care about the boys relationship on the show right now because it just freaking hurts....*sigh* Of course, as we've found out this past week, Sam doesn't care about their relationship either because Sam doesn't care about anything, and Dean likes to beat up things that don't care about anything so, yay! XD T.T At this point, I just have to laugh at it for my own sanity. *siiiiigh ( ... )

I don't know if it's so much that Sam doesn't care...I think it's more that he does care, but he doesn't have an emotional reaction to the brokenness of it all. He knows there's something wrong with their relationship, and he wants it fixed, but he's not crying in a corner because it's not. I dunno ( ... )

haha, I agree! RP is glorious, we need to fangirl over happy things, like Dean/Cas, and forget the bad, XD

Ok, awesome, glad you like it, ^^ And I love good old fashioned monster hunts, there's not enough of those anymore, and I LOVE that idea of burning bushes and parted waters and such...enough to fuck with Cas' head too, it's fantastic, lol

Oh, it won't screw with the IC stuff for the other thing, cause all of that's posted a the Paradisa comm. But, maybe we can try it this way and then do scenes over IM or e-mail later if we want? I'm pretty new to all of this still since any RP I've ever tried has never lasted long before, so in the past couple weeks I've just gotten used to the whole journal based thing, lol

But yeah, I can go ahead and start something, and then we can go from there, :D Dean's over at saltshotgun, and I'll make a journal entry there that we can start from. (and oh, if you have AIM and ever wanna talk or use that or anything whatsoever, I'm nilrel on there and I'm usually on in the evenings these days, ^^)
