that is a very powerful and gorgeous fic. I'm sorry you had to deal with suicide (ideas or else), but it sure shows that it's an issue you treat with all the care it deserves. Steve's anguish is so vivid, as is Tony's hurt, and I can only sigh in relief that they have each other now.

Thank you so much, <3 That's definitely a big part of why I wanted to write this, to take it completely seriously and really try to get into all the emotion of it, so I'm so happy it came together well. And these two, they're just so good for each other; I adore them.

Thanks again! :)

This is really lovely. You write Steve's terror very well, Tony feels very in-character, nice to read a fic where Tony's mother is actually mentioned, number one, and is credited with giving him a reason to survive Howard, number two.

I think any of us who have been suicidal-low want to believe that somebody, somewhere, would miss us if we were gone. You illustrate that hope very clearly here.

*hugs*

Thank you so much, <3 *hug*

Tony's relationship with his mother is something I've always wanted to know more about, and I can't help but think she had to be a tiny bit of a refuge from Howard for him, sometimes, so I really wanted to have her in a positive light in his past. And yeah, I think that's completely true...there's that hope that maybe somewhere, even if it doesn't always feel that way, we matter enough to someone that it makes a difference <3

That's lovely, and I like how you got into both of their heads, really. <3

Very well written, in character and realistic take on such a serious and emotional topic! Great job!

This is a lovely sketch of their relationship, and the devotion you've illustrated here is just beautiful. I'm glad I read this this morning.
