I usually avoid fic that acknowledges Coulson's death any more than to just explain that it was a ploy to pull them together and that he's FINE and move on. Because this, THIS...kills me. You are amazing. God, poor Clint. This is just heartbreaking. Trying to torture himself because he blames himself for not being there, pretending to heal just to keep his friends, his PROMISE to Phil...

Oh, and this is gonna be a SPN crossover??? Sweet!!! XD

Honestly though, I'm the same way...reading fic, I tend to avoid those that actually kill Phil because, fuck, that just hurts too much, X.X But of course because my brain is a sadist(lol), I had the thought of, "Well if he WERE dead, and if this was Supernaturalverse, what would Clint do?", and then I couldn't resist struggling to type it, haha
