"Hey, baby." he drawled in greeting as he slipped inside to be confronted with the menagerie itself. Judging by the Dane's reaction to him, he could tell this was a big step: love the woman, be loved by her dogs. If he couldn't win them over he was gonna have problems.
Luckily, animals were his thing so he knelt down immediately, offering the Dane his hand while the smaller dog dancing behind the group got his other one. "Hey, all...you must be the troops Cady told me about. C'mon, get a whiff, bros...I'm not gonna hurt anyone."
Claude let the other dog go with a nod, giving Tito a healthy scratch behind the ears as he nodded to her remark. "S'ok, I got time to win him over." he replied, flashing her a grin. "Least I know someone's taking care of ya when I'm not around. Fending off my competition and all."
