First book of the year!

The first book I finished this year was "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseni. I LOVED this book, and would like to see it make the required reading list in American high schools

Congratulations on your ability to read books regularly, I seem to have become a forager rather than a predator when it comes to books.

Have you read his other one, "The Kite Runner" I believe it is called.

I haven't read Kite Runner yet, but its going to be on this years list for sure!! I've seen it at the library so I plan on picking it up when I go next!

You HAVE to read the Kite Runner. I think I liked it better than A Thousand Splendid Suns... but only by a little. And that says A LOT considering it was one of my favorite books! (So, yes, that means they are both on my favorite book list)
