Roflmao!! I'm a fan of both shows and my favs from both are Gabriel and Ezra...so this is perfect. Now I must dig out my seasons of Mag 7 and re-watch them all and picture the supernatural guys in those roles. Second favs are Bobby and Josiah as well. Great job!

Some of the SUPN characters seemed to have obvious parallels with the Mag 7 group: John as the widower obsessed with the person who killed his family in a fire; Dean as the fun-loving ladies man; Gabriel as the wily con-man/gambler. Bobby as the older man who provides advice and wisdom to his colleagues (and also drinks a bit much from time to time). Wasnt sure about Cas until i remembered most of the fan fiction descriptions of Vin focus on his long tan coat (capote? Buffalo skin or something?) and his pretty blue eyes. That and his innate honesty and the fact he spent a lot of time amongst the indians and so might be considered a little off in terms of civilized manners. If you consider JD idealistic rather than naive and dont think of him as the youngest of the bunch Sam fits (also as the little brother Dean/Buck is always mother-henning). Rufus would be a natural as an ex-slave, but i really dont think he quite fits Nathan's healer personality. I could see Rufus digging a bullet out of you out in the field (and ignoring the fact ( ... )
