SUMMARY: Our heros are under attack....
It started shortly after their partnership began. And the bombardment only increased over time. They had enough to deal with as it was, they could have done without the extra action. Although the extra work helped them to form a friendship much faster than simply working the numbers would have. And if at times the pressure caused them angst, they were there to comfort each other so that they could continue on. Carter and Fusco also became targets when they began to help with the numbers, but the focus remained on Reese and Finch who bore the brunt of most efforts. With recent events spiraling out of control, there was no telling where things would go. Doubtless the plot bunnies would run wild over the summer!
Part 2
Finch had become accustomed to dealing with pain, but this was getting out of hand. The attacks were wide and varied and coming more and more quickly. He scowled down at the bunnies gnawing away at him and wondered how much longer he could last.
Reese had been hunting almost non-stop since Finch was taken. Taking a deep breath to center himself, he focused down the barrel of his gun before pulling the trigger, kneecapping his target. Another rabbit’s foot to add to his collection
Fusco definitely thought he was being pulled in too many directions - his job, his undercover work in HR, the constant errands he had to run for the Boss or the Suit. Now he was getting dragged into their conflict with the bunnies as well, as sort of collateral damage. Scooping up a particularly fluffy bunny that had been stalking Reese, he wondered if he could turn this to his advantage. Although Reese might be averse to it, Fusco wouldn’t mind a little one-on-one time with a Mary Sue
