thanks for the comments. my inspiration seems to come and go quickly. But since there have been a couple of shorts in this universe already lightning may strike again. Holidays are ripe with possibilities, and responding to comments sometimes sparks an idea (hmmmm. Caroling. Costumes. Santa in the chimney. Decorations)

well, i was inspired by your feedback. So now there are a whole lot of short blurbs posted under the title "Christmas shorts" (although a number of them probably could have been in a regular supn universe since the mutant powers dont come up much. Cas and Gabriel might have had different attitudes toward the holiday if they were still angels though. Hope you enjoy since these are sort of your fault.... :)
