A very interesting start. They are both so miserable but don't want the other to know it, which is very much in character.

A very nice start! I have a ridiculous fondness for these episodes, and I love anything written about them.

He would start sleeping a lot more without her, he knew. Eventually his eyes would close for seconds too long in the morning, then minutes, then hours, until he was sleeping as much as Rose, and he didn’t appreciate the idea at all. But without being in the constant presence of artron energy, he would begin taking more time to recharge during the night. Just like humans.

Is this canon? I hadn't heard it before but it's a great explanation as to why he doesn't sleep as much as humans.

I liked how Rose adjusted so quickly and took charge, while the Doctor is left lost and feeling his way.

I can't wait for more.

I absolutely love these episodes. They're actually my favourite for New!Who in general.

Actually, as far as I know, it isn't canon. But in the audio plays by Big Finish, Leela is kept alive long past her normal years due to the fact that she lives on Gallifrey, and is kept alive by it. I just... sort of fudged a little with that and put it in here.

Thank you for teh comment.
