So, my brother prodded me into watching a couple episodes of The X-Files on TNT tonight and I suddenly wonder how I managed to forget my INTENSE LOVE for this show, my major crush on Scully, and the USTiest OTP that is so dear to my heart

Did you buy the seasons individually on amazon.ca, or the box set? I looked and the box set there was 270CDN, but later realized that each individual season is 20CDN (vs 28-40USD on amazon.com).

I'm really looking forward to getting into them again. Is "Monday" the Groundhog Day-ish one where the day keeps starting over until everything happens as it's supposed to?

Also, yeah, I practically died at the end of "UnNatural." For some reason I remember that scene but not the episode at all--although I definitely did not remember him putting his hand on her hip and probably nearly died when he did.

Well, the silly thing is that if I buy the seasons individually, it would be 180CDN total, which is 100 dollars less than the boxed set. Any special features that may exist don't seem worth that kind of money

I don't know if I condone you spending so much money on a DVD set (unless you can pay in installments?), but I could probably be convinced to watch it with you if you were persuasive enough. ;)
