I love going back to my fandomy roots.

Well, it took damned near two weeks, but I finally finished my Matrix moodtheme. I decided I was going to do one properly. I downloaded a few other moodthemes from various places, but they were generally not very well thought-out and rather ugly, as they were just cropped and resized. But I spent hours capping and looking through my collection of ( Read more... )

: loves you SO DAMN MUCH :
That's determination, all that work.
I particularly love 'rejuvinated', 'recumbent', 'nerdy' and 'pissed off'.

Thanks.

I'm very proud of "recumbent." I thought long and hard about what scene I could use and finally it hit me. Duh.

"flirty" and "pissed off" have me grinning like a madwoman. "exhausted" brings the aww, I can't take my eyes off "rejuvenated" and "grateful" makes my heart ache.

Love for fandomroots, and beautyinmoodthemes, and you. :D

I think "sad" is a gross understatement, but other than that, these are perfectly chosen and beautifully capped and colored. I think that was well worth the effort, as much as I teased you for it. "Content" is my favorite because not only does she have the perfect face for it, but the fact that Trinity makes that face and is feeling so content makes us so wildly content that it's just right.

Sad was really, really hard because the emotion in the movie is more complex, less shallow than that. I noticed that for a lot of the moods. I thought a lot about that one to no avail. I'd be willing to take other suggestions for that one.

I'm similarly dissatisfied with the one for "depressed," of Neo in the rain during the Super Burly Brawl. He's not just depressed--it's a combination of that and appreciative and determined and loved and a thousand other things that Keanu's facial expressions do not quite capture.

You're so right about content. That's exactly it. Thank you as always for being more awesomely articulate than I am.
