Another review of Judith Toy's book.

Beth felt funny about the title of her review, "When Bad Things Happen to Bad People."  With my help, she realized a lot of people would not understand her point and take it the wrong way.  So I wrote an entirely new review for Amazon, which maybe captures a little better what Beth was trying to say.   Here is the new review, as written by me, ( Read more... )

Buddhism's friendly cousin, Taoism says that wise people forget good and bad. These are distinctions without distinction and only make us angry and confused about one another and about ourselves. Eventually i must learn what is "good" with out having the label "good" attached to it or the label "bad" to its opposite. As one of my daughters often says to my dog: "its all good."

That's a hard idea to get used to but such a relief when you do..... Budd & Tao's cousin Jesus would agree also, if I read him right.
