Gosh I didn't even realise you were near the danger zone. I thought you were in Melbourne. Glad to hear you're all okay though. It's been heartbreaking watching the news this week and seeing the photos of some of the victims. My thoughts and prayers are going out to Victorians.

I'm pretty safe where I am, but a couple of people I work with have died or lost everything. It's a fifteen minute drive to the Kinglake Complex fires from my house.

The smoke was impressive but we were never on alert. The same can't be said for my family in Gippsland.
