I HAVE HAD TWO CDS STOLEN FROM MY LUGGAGE DURING A FLIGHT FROM CHICAGO TO MELBOURNE.

IF ANYONE SEES COPIES OF:

BLOOD OF THE DALEKS PT2 - autographed by Nicholas Briggs

The countries are nice, but some of the people in them suck.

Did you report the theft to the airline? It sounds like one of the baggage inspectors got sticky fingers.

What a weird thing for a random baggage handler to steal. Although a mate of mine once lost several carefully selected ST:TNG tapes to someone in Australia Post.

I'll rummage through our luggage just in case it somehow got shoved in with our stuff!

Nah, I definitely saw it because I double checked everything was in my bag just before we checked out. I'm sure they disappeared after I got to the airport, as disappointing as that prospect may be.

By the way, I'm so sorry we didn't get much of a chance to sit down and talk at CT! I always seemed to have to dash off for something involving the Masquerade!

We'll have to plan a coffee or dinner properly next time I'm over. It was great to put a face to a name, however briefly :)

Having your autographed CDs stolen absolutely does suck. I'm so sorry it happened, and I hope they turn up somewhere. Is it possible they were stolen at the hotel, after you'd packed? Was your luggage ever left alone? There were likely more people with an interest in Doctor Who there than among the baggage handlers (although you never know). But then there were so many people around at the hotel that someone rifling through bags would probably be noticed.

It's all solved, thankfully. At least it wasn't someone in the hotel going through my things. I didn't think it likely, but when you're upset about something you entertain any possibility, don't you?

We'll definitely have to plan better next time ... try to have a day or at least a few non-con (what?!?) hours together.

Boy that sounded kinky.
