How is it that warm dog can smell both wonderful and disgusting at the same time? I mean ... all that bad breath, doggy body odour and general mustiness that comes from being hairy and living predominantly outside can't be nice, right

Indeed. I never shy away from kisses from my puddy cats, even though they lick their own arses and bring in dead things all the time.

Remember, there are less harmful germs in a doggy mouth than a people mouth, so poochie smooching is fine but people kissing will get you VD :p

Have to say I totally agree with you. As far as I'm concerned, nothing beats puppy breath or warm, furry belly cuddles!

Maddy curls up in a tiny ball, her nose tucked into her belly, her paws folded under her chest, so she sort of concentrates that warm dog smell ... when she unfolds to cuddle you she positively exudes it!
