My only consolation in watching this is knowing that according to canon, Clark ends up with Lois not Lana.

Every time she comes on screen I gag, I swear it's true. She's such a goddamn goodie-goodie.

Oh, god...I so agree with you. Not only is she goody-goody and annoying...she's NOT attarctive either...in fact, in some scenes I think she has the faciasl features of a chimp.

Seriously, I mean it. Go watch. Then you try to say it 'aint there. ;)

However, I actually think she's quite beautiful. In fact, it irritates me that they always slather her in make-up because she has a gorgeous bone structure. I wonder if she's got any asian heritage ... she reminds me of a friend I have who's half Japanese, half German.

Maybe I've just got Margot Kidder's magnificent Lois stuck so firmly in my psyche that all other Clark|Superman love interests pale in comparison.

Sharon hates it when I watch Smallville, because I end up swearing everytime Lana opens her damn mouth.
Or does the big-eyed hurt look when she's actually being a selfish bitch. Or, by season two, appears on screen.
If anyone secretly watched me while I was watching a Smallville with a lot of Lana in it, they'd think I had Tourette's Syndrome!

Interestingly, there's a season four ep where she's possessed by evil... It's the only episode where I liked her! I think my entire hatred is based on the way the actress has chosen to play Lana.

Personally, I want Smallville to rewrite Superman lore and have Clarke get together with Chloe.

It wouldn't be the first time canon has been wildly re-written in that fandom. I certainly like the Clark|Chloe match better than Clana.
