Hi guys,

I have a friend who lives in Joplin, MO - the town devastated by a tornado sometime back. Their main park/swimming pool/community center was completely destroyed by the twister. Coca-Cola is offering $100,000 to one lucky city to help them revitalize a local park. It costs absolutely nothing, all you have to do is go to the website and vote ( Read more... )

I am learning that one of the easiest ways to keep myself from falling into despondency over the state of the world is to find small ways to do something to change it. I heard about this on another online community I belong to and instantly felt like this was something all of us can do.

I think I voted. I found the park on the map, and the only vote button I see is along the side and when I hit it, nothing really happens. So not sure if I have actually voted or not. :o
It would be nice if Coke would just give them the top prize and hold a seperate one for the rest of the country.

You have to click the red dot on the map. It will then let you vote.
