Small quibble, there are telesnaps for the story. Waris Hussein had them taken for the six episodes he directed and were published in DWM. A mini-reconstruction of the story was included in The Beginning boxset using the telesnaps.
Perhaps the condensation forming in the TARDIS is the TARDIS wanting to keep the crew alive.
I find condensation disgusting. It reminds me of when I was a little boy in winter on buses with steamed up windows dripping with condensation. The idea of drinking such water is revolting to me.
I was tempted to do the same, but I'm really trying to be a good Doctor Who fan and either watch reconstructions or read novelisations of the missing serials. I've never done that before. Most of the completely missing serials - i.e. The Savages, The Smugglers, The Highlanders, Fury from the Deep, The Space Pirates, etc.. I've not listened to the audio, watched a reconstruction, or even read the novelisations.
I have some magazines containing the all the telesnaps available for the missing Troughton episodes. I just need to find the same for the missing Hartnell episodes. It'll be easier than watching the reconstructions.
