Ohh, that's twisted. And fantastic. I love the differentiation you've made between war and destruction; that he might enjoy destruction on a short term level, but it affords him no true satisfaction. And then, of course, there's always the question of why the Master and the Doctor need each other so much; for the Doctor, that's easy to answer, but you've given a wonderful explanation for the Master's side of things here.

Also, the Lucy in my head is very pleased that you haven't ignored her.

Thank you so much for all your comments. ^^ The Doctor and the Master's relationship is so much fun to explore from the Master's point of view, and I'm glad it came across like I wanted it to here.

And I think it would be impossible to ignore Lucy! Because as much as she is very human and he's painfully aware of it at times, he really does love her. Why else would he marry her? ("Needing a wife for the politics" is just bull, he had mind-control on his side!)

Well, that was fun! You know, fun in the really masochistic sense that people like us tend to be so good at.

Really though, this was delightful and made me squirm quite a bit. The first parts especially, are my favorites but I lovelovelove the build up and eventual execution of his fun little plan.

<3 This earns hearts, broken hearts but hearts.

It was fun to write, too, in that sort of way. I'm actually rather proud of it.... Even if I would've liked to go into the entire conversation, but it wasn't coming out right when I tried.

Squirm is good. That's about the reaction I was hoping for. XD I'm glad you like it!

Hey, broken hearts are still hearts. <3! (
