I'm a bit confused about this bit:

Once the stories go live, the correct author's name will be edited in to the story's header

What do you mean by going live? Surely that's when the story is posted here, so it won't be anonymous at all?

What do we do about thanking betas? Should we put it in the notes and you'll edit that into the header with the author name later?

Stories will be posted to this community but by the who_remix_mod account which is why you need to email your entry.

If you wish to thank a beta in your author's notes, their names will also be edited in with the original author's.

I understand you're posting the stories, it's the part where the author's names go in that confuse me because you said that happens when they go live and I don't understand your definition of live in this context.

I wrote my story in Open Office. Is odt format okay, or would you prefer it converted to a Microsoft doc?

I don't know what the mod prefers, but I used Open Office too and personally I'm sending mine as an RTF.
