Oh dear lord, I love you. This was honestly truly fabulous, and I say that not only because I am jump-up-and-down excited about someone writing Hexfic, but because it really is great: beautifully written, and powerful without being overdone. Oh, I wibble at the loveliness: terrified Hex trying to be heroic and Ace-saving and having to kill things (and clearly have gigantic angst about it afterwards), and Ace's dialogue, which echoes Rose's but has ten tons of weighty stuff to go with it, and oh, the Doctor smoothing her hair, and gosh.

*wibbles*

Have I persuaded you that it isn't rubbish yet? Because it has made me entirely gleeful.

Ditto! This is, to use a certain word, fantastic! Hex! HEEEEEEEEX! I can totally see this playing out this way, and Ace calling Hex and the Doctor on it, and-and--HEEEEEEEEEX!

Whew! :sigh of relief::

Glad you enjoyed it. My brain bursts into flames when I try to think about doing the whole episode, I'm afraid to say.

But, yes, Hex. You must meet Hex, for he is Teh Pretty. I would suggest The Harvest, for starters, and The Settling, for afters. They are about the bestest, although several of the others are also quite good.
