The pr0n was lovely, but this last was my favorite. Since the idea of Reinette making it onto the TARDIS is playing out a different possibility itself, the opening lines about the Doctor returning to snip off this piece's possibility was simply brilliant. Their dynamic was easy to picture, especially with Rose's fears about Reinette and history and your last few paragraphs. Sole nitpick-did de Pompadour really not know any English? In any case, lovely work.
The last one was my fave too. I rather like the idea of Reinette trapped on earth with Rose trying to live the normal life. Even though it's not what The Doctor promised her. Just another version of The Slow Path.
You know, when you mention it, she probably DID know English, although I've never seen anything that says she did. But being as edcuated as she was, I would imagine so. Now that I think of it, I've no idea what languages she spoke. Either way, I'm just so used to a universe where the TARDIS translates that the thought of the TARDIS not being there was too much fun to toy with.
She probably did, she met Casanova and unless he knew French or she spoke Italian, they couldn't have communicated. Crap. Now I'm gonna have to go look it up. It's gonna bug me until I know. :)

Wasn't French the passport language at the time? So he may well have done. Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if she knew English simply because it was politically relevant, but I'm no Pompadour authority, so I suppose it wasn't even really a nitpick, just an idle curiosity! :)
See, I assumed she didn't know English what with French being language to know at the time. And Casanova. . .got around, I guess is the way to say it. But then, I think she might have, as she acted as Louis' ambassador on more than one occassion. :)
I wish I were more of an expert, there are huge gaps in my knowledge of her.
