My Mad Quest to Make a Perfect Season 16/17 Scarf: Introduction

I beg everyone will forgive me if this and any subsequent posts are a bit roughly done. This is my first time posting on Livejournal or attempting to demonstrate anything like this.

For the past year I have been working on a ridiculously, needlessly tedious screen-accurate pattern for the Season 16/17 Doctor Who scarf.

This is the Pattern we made using a section from the stand in scarf . I want to get the effect of what they did with the two scarfs but with any missing panels .. We use a section in the stand in to bridge the two After seeing the pictures on Doctorwhoscarf.com of the long scarf as it is now in NY where a fan who bought in Auction.
My wife did leave some panels out by accident but she said she will do another later on.. She did do scaled ed down one with the same pattern but half the width and not as long for her to ware.
These are pictures of the finish scarf My wife did about 2 year or so ago. hoping to do a season 18 next.
