doin' the math...

i’m 12.5 percent done with the who scarf and i’ve finished ‘the rescue’ from the original 2nd season.

it seems like i'm speeding along, then i see this progress bar and i feel like i'm trudging. 'tis okay though because i know i've only put a few hours' work in so far.

oddly enough, working on this is spurring on my other UFOs. you'd think this ( Read more... )

I get that, too, to the point where I make a special point of having multiple projects on the needles in "active progress" (as opposed to "hibernating"), so that I can swap out between them as I get bored with just one, or use the one I'm dying to work on as motivation to get X number of rows onto another project first before I'll let myself pull the other one out. So long as I keep a good grasp on how many items I can have in "active progress" and expect to see any progress from week to week, and so long as I make a point of pulling "hibernating" things back into "active progress" as well as casting on new things when I finish something, I actually get more done that way.
