there is no bamboo knitting needle

I noticed today that one of my bamboo knitting needles is curved. I'm pretty sure it wasn't like that in the first place. Is it possible to bend them? What should I do other than stop eating so much spinach ( Read more... )

o_O I've never heard of that happening before in my life... then again, I just started using bamboo needles, which are like the best things ever now that I'm using them!
Hmm... Spinach. ya, stop eating that right now. Oh! And stop chewing on that corn cob pipe of yours. That should help :)

Just pressure and heat can bend them a bit, but I wouldn't worry about it. It's not going to make a difference in your knitting, really.

okay awesome. I bought another pair just in case. I wanted to get circular needles but they didn't have any in size 5. :(

Even my size 7 bamboo needles will bend a bit. They are technically made out of a grass, after all. :) Just gently bend them back if you want, though you don't really need to.
