I can't really answer "Series 5!" to every single one of these questions

I can. Series 5 is my favorite arc! :p

But I like your thoughts here on the Doctor's character arc. I agree there's something there that's been really interesting to watch. One of my favorite scenes from "Day of the Doctor" is when the three of them are in the Tower of London, and you can really see the evolution of how the Doctor deals with the Time War. The difference between Ten and Eleven in particular is fascinating.
