Announcing the Who@50 51st Anniversary Fanwork-a-thon!

The 50th anniversary went so well, I thought we'd have another go. It's seven weeks from today to the day itself - the day the Doctor is fifty-one years young. Plenty of time, to my way of thinking, to get some fanworks going and post them to the comm. :)

That's right, it's the who_at_50 51st Anniversary Fanwork-a-thon, celebrating more than half a century

I'll sign up, but prefer not to be tied to a specific date. The project I'm thinking of is multi-Doctor.

Since multi-Doctor is taken, I think I'll do Companions. That way I don't have to be so specific and can include Doctors and villains and re-curring characters etc. ;)

Are we talking a single fic/fanwork or just as much as I feel like as long as it involves Companions? Either one is fine by me. :)

I would say the more fanworks the merrier :) That's certainly the way things went in the 50th anniversary 'thons last year - if you do have more than one, you can either post them at the same time or on different days as well. I'm not really a stickler for rules and such when it's all meant to be in fun. Think of them as guidelines. ;)

Helloooo...first time poster, often lurker here. :) I'm working on a small wallhanging that will represent my favorite (though often unappreciated) Six, if you'd like me to post that later on in November. I'm thinking that would spur me on to get it finished. Also may be working on something with Twelve afterwards.

Put me down for Two, please; I've never really written him beyond a short drabble, but I'm working my way through his era right now, so I might as well try some fic! My dates are flexible right now, but I'd prefer not before the 15th if possible.

Okay, I'll put you down for date unspecified at the moment and you can post when you're ready. Looking forward to some Two fic - I don't think he's as hard to write as conventional wisdom has it, provided you've got the telly stories to refer to, but there's nothing like enough Two fic about if you ask me. :)

I missed out on taking part last year, so I'd like to join in this year! I'll take the Sarah Jane Adventures, please, and I'll take the 6th of November - I can hopefully finish a fic by then!
