Round One still rumbles on, with a few works already shared with the comm and more still to come. Some of those who signed up for dates in the first half of the month are still working on their entries, still bedevilled by technical issues or still waiting for inspiration

y'know, I haven't finished my entry for this month yet (It's almost 5k at this point, though), but I know how it's all going to fit together

I'm going to sign up for this one anyway. I want to do something for every month, and I love Ten. It will most likely be a mini-adventure feat. the Doctor and Donna. (I'd do Rose, but what I like about Ten is Dark!Doctor, and they hadn't quite developed him that far in s2) It will most likely be at the end of the month, but I (once again) don't want a specific day.

I love UNIT too, but I'm thinking they're going to have to wait their turn until September.

Knowing how it fits together is half the battle, though. I look forward to seeing it when it is finished.

I will put you on the "no specific date" list, then. A bit of Ten and Donna sounds pretty good to me. And it'd be great if you did do something for every month, but I'm not expecting anybody to commit to anything at this early juncture. And I'm sure UNIT are more than capable of waiting - they're disciplined military types after all. ;)

Once again, for the sake of my sanity, I don't want to claim a specific day - but seeing as UNIT is one of my favourite Who things I'm sure I'll manage to put something together. <3

(I almost have too many ideas for UNIT fic, actually...)

UNIT are pretty marvellous generally, I agree, and it sounds like you're pretty inspired already. Excellent. I will put you down as "no specific date", then. Nice icon, btw. :)

Thank you; it was made by calapine, who has a bunch of lovely Classic Who icons up on her journal.

As for the icon, it's a production still from Doctor Who and the Silurians. Caroline John is so gorgeous in them (well, she always is, as are Jon and Nick). <3

Yes, I've always loved that picture of her. It's so 60's and yet futuristic!

I don't think you should let that hamper you - just stick a picture of the Brig on the front and job's a good'un. ;)

All that equipment really does like something out of one of the "futuristic" Two stories or something. Or The War Machines or something like that.
