Rather than happy I looked somewhat perturbed by your gift...but I totally was happy...I guess I just have a weird way of expressing it, which you so clearly and obviously understand, and that's why I love you, and this run-on sentence.
And no, not the weekend. But luckily, we should be speeding up what we're looking forward to. Lauren got home early early this morning (like her plane landed at 8:45), so when she wakes up and gets over the jet-lag, we should be on the ball.
Miss Lisa, you are welcome in my pool anytime a'tall!
And for a delish red velvet cake, try this recipe:
1/2 cup shortening 1 1/2 cups sugar 2 eggs 2 tablespoons cocoa 2 oz red food coloring 1 teaspoon salt 2 1/2 cups flour 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup buttermilk 1 teaspoon soda 1 tablespoons vinegar
PREPARATION: Cream shortening; beat in sugar gradually. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well after each addition. Make paste of cocoa and food coloring; add to creamed mixture. Add salt, flour and vanilla alternately with buttermilk, beating well after each addition. Sprinkle soda over vinegar; pour vinegar over batter. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Bake in 3 8-inch pans or 2 9-inch pans for 30 minutes at 350°.
Oh really?? Do you guy have a "Poooch Pouch" too? Because if not, you can get them at PetSmart for only like $20 and they make everything so much easier.
Again, I think ChiChi and Radley have lots in common.
Also, stop playing around on LJ and answer my email/phone call already! You know that thing you do sometimes called work? Why not do it a little more often? ;P
