Omg! You know Tomáš Klus?! How did that happen?? I thought nobody knew Czech music outside, you know, Czech Republic lol Wow, I'm kinda astonished right now :D And the translation is quite good too :))

I discovered him as I was putting together this playlist, actually! Radek Zelenka's character is Czech, and he's always muttering in Czech under his breath on the show, so I thought that if I was going to make a playlist about him, it wouldn't be right to not have a Czech pop song mixed in with all the Canadian/American pop as well. I don't speak more than a few words of Czech (all of them curses, shh) -- my focus has been with Russian, but I can hear a few cognates occasionally and some of the grammar is similar.

But I really like Tomáš Klus' music now that I've found him! My poor roommate has been subjected to listening the "Cesta do záhu(d)by" album over and over and over... XD

Do you have any other recommendations? :3

Nice! I thought the name sounded Czech, but I wasn't sure, since I've never seen the show. Which is kinda sad, since I'm a huuuge fan of Stargate SG-1. I've just never been able to get into Atlantis, dunno why. And I'm like that with Russian lol I know only stuff that's similar to Czech. But we do have some good curse words, if I say so myself haha ( ... )
