Howdy, guys and gals. It’s been a while since the last State of Creation column, so I thought it was time to give you all an update on what’s happening and a preview of what’s coming down the pike for Exalted, and for Scion as well.

Yay! Dragon Kings and Mountain Folk are exactly what my Early First Age game needs.

Also coming up after that are the Scroll of Exalts, which is a big roster of movers and shakers from the setting (including all the sig characters), and a super-secret project that involves the return to the setting of a character we haven’t heard from in a while.

All good and exciting news. I know there's a big push in the Exalted gay community to make Demetheus homosexual - and frankly, it would add an interesting dimension to the character.

so I can concentrate on the development of The Manual of Exalted Power-The Alchemicals.

This is going to rock some socks off.

In fact..any chance that Alchemicals will be a boxed set? I'd very happily pay more to have that all done in one shot.

Thanks for taking the time to do these updates, I know I for one really appreciate them and look forward to checking here every couple of weeks.

Just to clarify on Scroll of Exalted, can we expect to see write-ups for Harmonious Jade and the Bull even though they were outlined in the core book? If so, I hope they will be upgraded in power. Also, I hope that we see at least a few combos for each Exalt in that book, or maybe some custom charms as I think that tends to show a little bit about the characters (as well as serving for inspiration for those of us who aren't expert combo-makers).

Will we finally find out the origin of the enmity Dace and Mirth share? I had a pet hypotehsis about that based on one of Dace's former soldiers who died just before he Exalted.

I saw. I picked up my subscription copy. My only complaint is that I think the Purview for the Rus pantheon should've been named in Russian, as thus far the only pantheon-specific Purviews that haven't been named in the language of their pantheon's homeland have been Cheval (which gets a pass because so much of Loa territory is francophone) and Scīre (which gets its pass because, as Manifestations of Ichor points out, "[t]he old Atlantean language is long gone"). Babelfish tells me that the Russian for "Duality" is двоичность, Dvoichnost. If at all possible, please try and get that into the complete Companion.
