Holy Shit

I hope this is true...

"Love At Second Bite", a sequel to the 1979 George Hamilton comedy/horror "Love At First Bite", has begun production

Let's just hope it's as good as the original, a childhood staple of mine. Hollywood never fails to amaze me.

Hmm... no. I don't recall seeing that movie, but the concept sounds REALLY familiar... I'm going to have to look in to it.

Love at First Bite is a very over-the-top comedy, somewhat in the style of "Airplane!". It's about Dracula being evicted from his castle and moving to new york city to persue his love interest - a model he spotted in magazines - who just happens to be dating a descendant of van helsing.

The movie was a childhood staple of mine, and I must have seen it a thousand times. I still think it's a hilarious movie, even though me makes me cringe a little at times (the 70's black stereotypes are pretty risque). Definitely worth a watch if you get the chance.

hm... that sounds pretty familiar, too. i'm going to have to go rent every vampire comedy there is, and find out which ones i've seen and which ones i haven't. because apperantly i don't seem to know.

Joy!!! I've been watching it alot lately since it's been on cable playing over and over. I was always wanting my own coffin with a reading light! I gotta find out if Arte Johnson will play Renfield again.

I haven't had a chance to see it for a couple of years now. I'm going to have to dig it out, I know I've still got it on tape somewhere.

It's such a brilliant movie! I think it even beats "The Fearless Vampire Killers" on the grounds of its sheer absurdity. It used to have me in hysterics when I was little. "Children of the night! Shut up!" in particular.

I can't wait to see how this develops. I don't think I could have predicted this being remade/sequelised in a million years. I just hope it's as good as the original!
