Took another hours long walk today, this time to the north of the city, down to the Dom, then across the Rhine. All very scenic

Spain has some awful showers, too. A lot of them seemed to be built on the premise of "Let's get most of the water on the floor and the rest can actually go down the drain." Bathtub/shower combos typically have a half door that is ideal for this purpose.

In case you are planning calls home, your last entry had the time difference wrong - you are 6 hours ahead of EST, so 1 am in Germany is 7 pm in Boston.
