John gets up early enough that it's still dark. Of course, this isn't the best time to walk around at and, of course, John ends up stubbing his toe. He hisses but keeps quiet.

After feeling his way around in the dark, he makes it into the bathroom, tosses water on his face and heads back out.

Aeryn at this point is already awake- like she sleeps anymore- and sitting up. "Hi," she greets him, pulling back the covers to get up.

"Hey," he says, coming back toward her. "Did I wake you up?"

"I've been awake for a while," she says, standing. "Training today, I get down there early." And sometimes that means really early.

"Oh." He blinks slowly. "How's that going?"
